She was the epitome of grunge in the 1990s, fronting the ska punk band No Doubt. As you can see from the pictures below, she wasn't afraid of bright colours! There's no denying that she can pull it off though, because she is insanely hot and basically, I want to be her... and, I want to look like she does at 40!
And look at her now! If only I could get away with this hair do...
If you're like me and missing the summer already, here is some summer inspiration in stills from the 1965 french new wave film Perrot Le Fou. I really enjoy watching this film, because aesthetically it is beautiful. It's about a couple who live a very unorthodox life, always on the run. I absolutely love the primary colours used throughout and of course the beautiful setting of Southern France. Most of all, I'm obsessed with Anna Karenina, who plays Marriane. She is so unbelievably beautiful, and I'm crazy jealous of her care-free french style she's got going on.
Wow look at these stunning dresses! I was taken away when I saw pictures from Alice Temperly's Spring 2013 collection exhibited at London Fashion Week. I especially love the 1950s style dresses and the icy blue colour she's focused on.
